I have few questions. 1) and this may be a duh question but, my device has 2 micro SD slots. 1 on the side of the device which when card is mounted actually shows up(it & all its contents). Within device & when connected to PC under both massive storage & activesync/WMDC).

Question is, is the slot in the top/back actually a working slot or just a card holder to safely carry the second card? Because even though there is a card in that slot I dont see it's contents showing anywhere. 2) This may be because of type of SD card used but. I have a movie on the SD card & tried to play it using default player & it plays but visual lags. One side that looks like an app side/screen and this is what the device boots to when powered on. At the bottom of that screen is the app looking icon labeled 'Wince'(showing a desktop & monitor). This icon is how I get into the windows ce side. Does either on of these(app side) have to be uninstalled? Or does miopocket just work along side those too?
Noob question lolWhat you tell 'side' is nothing other than a 'desktop' - you know of all desktop machines: the one is the default WinCE desktop (not much different to the Win32 desktop), the other is the desktop (better said GUI) that each OEM provide (they mostly call it device menu) from which you launch apps provided by OEM (eg. Navigator, Player, etcetera).
In case of MioPocket Mini 4.0 FV - and probably other unlockers, too - nothing must be uninstalled. MioPocket Mini 4.0 FV can be considered as an additional application you decide to run, or not. Most people run MioPocket Mini 4.0 FV via redirecting the device's GPSPath to it. Suspect currently it's not a good idea to install MioPocket Mini 4.0 FV. You should first become familiar with your device.
Ok, I download mio already anyway but not installed yet. But at this I can still install the voPlayer correct? I downloaded that as well! Also downloaded a GAPI just in case the one used is outdated. But from the images of mio that I've seen it looks pretty cool and looks similar to the GUI screen or a mix of both!, that why I asked if anything needed to be uninstalled in case of an interference.
But can i still install voPlayer without mio? Or should I install mio 1st? I am quick learner just have to get the hang of this thing 1st lol, it seems to be much more difficult than pc, android, game consoles, etc. I've modded, installed and manipulated these devices with extreme ease compared to this device/wince 6 embedded! VoPlayer is a standalone player-application, doesn't rely on MioPocket Mini 4.0 FV (but will come with its next release, at least this is planned). You install/use voPlayer whenever you wish to do so. Installing DirectX's little brother GAPI-for-HPC is hasardous, IMHO, is redundant if a DirectX driver already comes with your GPS (check for library Windows GX.dll). Typically CE 6.0 comes with graphics-accelerator driver Windows ddraw.dll. And you must know latest free version of GAPI-for-HPC is years old, devices sold today definitly aren't supported. You have to pay €19 EUR for a version that matches your device - as reported on several websites even such an ordered version may not work as expected, also driver's author doesn't guarantee this.
Normally all games/players/navigators that make use of the GX-driver provide this within their software distribution package (eg. Well unless I have not properly installed voPlayer, it seems to be even worse than the devices default player. Default player will show all videos/movie but only lag a bit! The voPlayer isnt even really showing any visual at or just bits/frames here and there when I bounce back and forth from full screen to smaller! It basically only plays the audio. I copied the voPlayer folder into SDMMC folder(onto the card). It has 2 exe files: 1 just black screen with 'file, control, X(exit)' and the other 1 looks like the actual player interface which you can browse for you media and play it.
