Just looking at the splash screen is beautiful Now here is a list of freeware (and now I'm thinking you probably want payware) which gives you some indication what's popular: I like the ISD Project - Rome Fiumicino LIRF 2005 and the ISDproject LIMC2005 Milano Malpensa, the Airport Environment Upgrade 7 is a must.
Ultimate Traffic provides Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002/2004 users the definitive. The goal of this project is to provide FS2002/2004 users with the most. With our best seller, Ultimate Airlines, for Flight Simulator 2000 will notice that we. This additional tool allows you to see what aircraft are currently at an airport,. Sep 29, 2007 Does anyone know any good freeware for increasing air traffic in FS2004? I have used a lot of add-ons to enhance airports, cities etc, but I am not quite sure how to get more traffic at the airports. The graphics aren't nearly as good as World of AI or Project AI, but my computer can't handle more anyway. Don't be fooled by how good they look.
Further down you find the Boston Logan V2.1, the Project Canarias 2006 Part 1/3 is an absolute beauty. Most items on the list are either a/c, AI packages or the occasional soundset you probably won't need any advice there. Flightsim.com have a similar list - I find those a good starting point. Okay, now tell us that you were actually inquiring about payware. Let me play devil's advocate here.
WHy do you fly in flight simulator? To look good on the ground, or to experience a virtual idea of what it is like to fly these aircraft?
That having been said. A lot of it is trial and error. Kawai bl 31 serial number code.
Download planes, check them out, no one says that you cannot have something that looks great AND flies great. Gotta learn to work the system.
EXAMPLE- I have a really awesome looking Airbus 319. Modeled after the real life steeler air. But the cockpit looked like crap, and it flew like crap. What did I do, download a different panel, something more realistic, and tweaked the cfg file a little. Now I have a dream bird. POSKY (project open sky) makes great models that fly well.
But their cockpits look like crap or are the default cockpits. Payware such as Captain Sim, Skydecks, PMDG all make great stuff.
But that does not mean you cannot download a free POSKY plane and get a wicked panel for it. Just search around man, it's all there for the taking!!! Any of us here can tell you download this download that. But does it FEEL right to you???? Does it meet what YOU are looking for. Only you know.
Spend a day on AVSIM. Download a bunch of planes. Then go to simviation and download panels for them.
Make it work. You will get a better plane out of it.
For airliners, any project opensky (old school), or TDS (new school) plane would be good for freeware. Panel development and interior stuff may be lacking, but if you just care about the outside, you can't go wrong with these. Though Project Opensky has been defunct for awhile, there is an achive page that's opened and maintained: For airports, go here: The site is dead but they left some of the links to AVSIM up, and you can probably find some of these files on FlightSim.com file search as well. KOAK is near my home.
So I DL'ed it and it does not disappoint at all. Put some World of AI SWA's in there and you'll watch them take over terminal two in the gates 20's and 30's on the SE side of the airport. Southwest practically owns the darn place! Regretfully, the KSMF download is dead. I managed to capture this gem on the old Freesky Posky page in 2011 before it went down.
As of now I don't know how you get this copy of KSMF Sacramento, but it is worthwhile if you do manage to get it. For weather freeware, I'd recommend FSrealWX. Already mentioned World of AI. Lots of choices, quality, easy to install once you get the hang of the installer. Good luck, -- John O. Last edited by b3burner; at 01:14 AM. JGF, [Quick thread hijack then back to the business of the OP]-- Question on Blue Sky Scenery: I downloaded one image file, and yes, it works great and looks good.
However, it has over-rode my autogen scenery (especially trees). Is this normal?
I have it listed as #1 in my scenery library. If I move it down the list can I get the photoreal image *AND* preserve my autogen trees (if I so desire)?
Or is that not even a desirable scenario? EDIT: Disregard. I have just moved it down to between default scenery and default terrain. And was able to bring the autogen bldgs and trees back-- over the photoreal image. However, it doesn't produce necessarily good results-- but did want to test if it could at least be done.
